Automotive Restoration

Bodywork, paint, and patience.

Restoration is its own craft. Airpark Auto Collision takes on full and partial restoration projects: classics, project cars, daily drivers brought back to factory finish. We bring the same downdraft booth, computerized paint matching, frame straightening, fiberglass capability, and custom fabrication tools to restoration work that we use on collision repair.

Full and partial restoration

Some restoration projects need everything: strip, weld, fabricate, body, paint. Others just need bodywork and a quality repaint. We scope each project together with the owner — there's no template — and break the work into milestones with clear pricing at each step.

Bodywork, panel fabrication, rust repair

Older vehicles often have rust, dents, and original-paint flaws that no quick fix will solve. We cut out rusted sections, fabricate or source replacement panels, weld to spec, and refinish — preserving as much original material as possible while restoring structural integrity.

Period-correct and custom finishes

Going factory? We'll pull the original paint code and match it. Going custom? We do that too — metallics, pearls, candies, and matte finishes, applied in a downdraft booth and warranted for life.

Frequently asked questions

Do you take on classic car restoration projects?

Yes. We've handled classic restorations across decades and makes. Each project is scoped individually — we'll walk through the vehicle with you and build a plan and budget before any work starts.

How long does a restoration take?

Anywhere from a few weeks for partial restoration to 6–18 months for a full ground-up project. We work in milestones so you know what's happening at each stage.

Can I bring my own parts?

Yes. Many restoration customers source rare or NOS parts themselves. Just let us know what you're bringing and we'll factor it into the plan.

What if I need mechanical work alongside the restoration?

We focus on body, paint, fiberglass, rust, and custom fabrication. For mechanical work on a restoration project (engine, transmission, suspension), we'll coordinate with a trusted mechanic shop in the area so the project moves forward without you having to manage two vendors.
