Auto Paint Services

Factory-grade finish, color-matched and warranted.

A paint job is only as good as the prep, the booth, and the materials. Airpark Auto Collision uses the same downdraft spray booths, baked clear coats, and computerized color matching as factory body shops — applied by technicians who have refinished thousands of panels. From a single scratch to a full repaint, we deliver a finish that lasts.

Color matching that disappears

Every paint code can shift over time from sun exposure, oxidation, or factory variance. We don't just spray the code — we read the actual current color of your vehicle with a spectrophotometer and tune the mix to match. Then we blend into adjacent panels so the new paint fades invisibly into the old.

Single panel, multiple panel, or full repaints

Need just a fender refinished? We do that all day. Want the whole car repainted in the original color or a custom finish? We do that too. Multi-stage metallics, pearls, tri-coats, candies, and matte finishes — bring us the look and we'll build the price.

What goes into a quality refinish

Every paint job at Airpark includes proper masking, surface prep (sanding, cleaning, degreasing), primer, base color, clear coat, baking, color-sanding, and final polish. We use premium urethane materials with UV inhibitors and chip resistance — the kind of paint that holds up to Maryland weather.

Lifetime paint warranty

All refinish work carries a written lifetime warranty on the paint itself. If the finish fails from materials or workmanship, we make it right. That's standard at Airpark — not an upsell.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to paint a car?

A single panel refinish typically runs $400–$900. A full vehicle repaint in the original color generally falls between $3,500–$7,000 depending on size, prep needed, and color complexity. Custom multi-stage finishes can be more. Every Airpark estimate is free and written.

How long does a full repaint take?

A quality full repaint takes 1–2 weeks. That includes proper disassembly, masking, multiple coats, baking, color-sanding, and polish. Anything quicker than that usually means corners are being cut.

Will the new paint match the rest of the car?

Yes. We use a spectrophotometer to read your vehicle's actual current color (which may differ slightly from the factory code due to age) and blend the new paint into adjacent panels. The result is a seamless transition.

Can you do custom colors or finishes?

Yes. We handle custom color changes, metallic and pearl finishes, tri-coat candies, and matte finishes. Bring us a paint code, a sample, or just an idea — we'll build a quote.

Do you warranty the paint?

Yes — a written lifetime warranty on paint and refinish work for as long as you own the vehicle. If it fails from materials or workmanship, we fix it free.
