Custom Auto Fabrication

One-off metal and fiberglass work for builders, restorers, and enthusiasts.

When the part you need isn't on a parts catalog — or doesn't exist at all — Airpark Auto Collision builds it. From hand-fabricated patch panels for cars that are no longer supported, to custom bumpers, shaved panels, smoothed trim mounts, and one-off body modifications, we shape metal and fiberglass to your spec. Bring us a sketch, a reference photo, or just a rough idea, and we'll prototype, fit, and finish it.

Sheet metal fabrication

Brake, shear, English wheel, planishing hammer, and bead roller — we shape new steel and aluminum panels in-house. Floor pans, rocker sections, custom patch panels for vehicles that aftermarket reproduction parts don't cover, and one-off cosmetic body mods.

Fiberglass fabrication

Mold pulls, custom layups, and one-off fiberglass parts for kit cars, ground effects, and restoration projects. We build new from your existing part, a plug, or a rough buck — then finish to body-shop standard.

Custom modifications

Shaved door handles, smoothed firewalls, frenched antennas, custom bumpers, fender flares, scoop additions, tubbed wheel wells. We mock up in cardboard or 3D, fab in metal or fiberglass, and refinish to match.

Builders and restorers welcome

If you're building a project at home and hit a wall — a panel you can't make, a section you can't get to weld, paint work you don't have a booth for — bring it to us. We're happy to take partial scopes on builder cars.

Frequently asked questions

Can you fabricate a part that I can't find anywhere?

Most of the time, yes. Bring us the damaged original, a reference photo, or a measurement, and we'll shape new metal or fiberglass to match. We've made one-off patch panels, custom bumpers, smoothed firewalls, and fender flares.

Do you do custom modifications, or just restoration?

Both. We do shaved door handles, smoothed bays, custom bumpers, fender flares, ground effects, and one-off cosmetic body modifications alongside straight restoration work.

How is custom fabrication priced?

Hourly with a written scope upfront. We map out what we're building, mock it up so you can see the shape before we commit to material, and break the work into milestones with prices at each step. No open-ended invoices.

I'm building a car at home. Will you do partial work?

Absolutely. We take partial scopes from home builders all the time — one tricky panel, a section of welding, paint and bodywork only. Bring us what you need help with.
