Bumper Repair & Replacement

Cracked, scuffed, or hanging — we'll handle it.

Bumpers do a lot of work, and they show it. Whether you've got a parking lot scuff, a cracked cover, or a full impact, Airpark Auto Collision can usually save the bumper instead of replacing it — and when replacement is the right call, we install OEM or OEM-equivalent and recalibrate any parking sensors or cameras.

Repair when we can, replace when we should

Plastic bumper covers can often be plastic-welded, filled, sanded, and repainted for a fraction of replacement cost. Cracks, holes, and torn mounting tabs can all be fixed. When damage is too severe or the bumper is hiding underlying structural damage, we'll quote replacement — usually with OEM parts.

Sensor and camera recalibration

Modern bumpers house parking sensors, blind spot radar, and forward-facing cameras. After any bumper repair or replacement, those systems need recalibration to function accurately. We handle this in-shop so you drive away with everything working as designed.

Paint match and blend

Bumpers are notorious for showing paint mismatches because they're plastic and respond to paint differently than steel panels. We use the right primers and blending technique to make the repair invisible against the rest of the vehicle.

Frequently asked questions

How much does bumper repair cost?

Plastic bumper repair with paint typically runs $400–$900. Full bumper cover replacement with OEM parts and refinishing usually falls between $900–$1,800 depending on the vehicle and whether sensors need recalibration.

Can a cracked bumper be fixed without replacing it?

Often yes. Plastic welding can restore most cracks and broken tabs. We'll only recommend replacement if the damage is too extensive to repair properly or if structural mounting points are compromised.

How long does bumper repair take?

Most bumper jobs finish in 2–4 days, including paint and any sensor recalibration. Replacements take a day longer than repairs.

Will my parking sensors still work after repair?

Yes. We recalibrate parking sensors, blind spot radar, and bumper-mounted cameras as part of every bumper repair or replacement. You'll drive away with all systems functioning correctly.
